Kent Little, M.S.,
LPA - Intern
Kent Little, M.S. is completing his Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) internship under the supervision of Dr. Phillip E. Morris, Psy.D. He is completing his Master of Science degree in Psychology at Walden University.
Mr. Little started his professional career as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Toledo; he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreational Therapy in 2011. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Little he worked as a CTRS in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas. He relocated to Dallas in 2012 for a CTRS position at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, which he held for 18 months before transitioning to the Medical Center of McKinney – Wysong Campus in June of 2013. In addition to his internship with Dr. Morris, Mr. Little continues to work with the Medical Center of McKinney and is actively completing his graduate studies. He has a passion for working with individuals across the age span, especially adults with severe and persistent mental illness. His master’s capstone project is titled Nonconventional Treatment Methods for Symptoms Associated with Schizophrenia. To learn more about Mr. Little's training history click here.
In his free time, Mr. Little enjoys spending time with his wife traveling, playing disc golf, and finding unique restaurants in the DFW area. He is also passionate about photography and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes!
